The Trella team interviewed Jeff White, Director of Business Development, Lindsey Johnson, Clinical Liaison, and Jason Astfalk, Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at Infusion Associates, to learn about their various experiences with Trella Health’s solutions.
Before using Trella’s data platform, Marketscape Insights, did you have access to market data?
“Our previous data was limited and proved difficult to access. As a result of its limitations, we didn’t use it very often. We didn’t have a good resource to find key referral targets and couldn’t dive into the provider profile very well. We could see some details, but it wasn’t nearly as expansive as Trella’s Marketscape Insights; we weren’t going into the historic database daily, we were accessing it monthly.
Now, with Marketscape Insights, we are looking at the data daily, each time before we have a call with a healthcare office. It’s a completely different experience than what we had 3 months ago,” said Lindsey.
Have you had previous experience using a CRM at Infusion Associates?
“We initially used Excel and were looking at another system that had a CRM component, but it also was like Excel. It wasn’t very helpful, and there was no capability to export reports. When Jeff came on board, it was obvious we needed a CRM with reporting capabilities to keep us more organized. The reporting in Marketscape CRM will be helpful for us,” said Lindsey.
How has having access to market data had an impact on your data analysis?
“Having Marketscape Insights is completely different from what we had before. With the previous claims database, we had access to data in its rawest form, and we had to do our own analysis of the data. With Trella, that analysis is mostly completed for us. We look at different markets to target certain areas for growth, and the tool helps us understand the referring provider better. With Trella, I can have a quick, at-a-glance view of what’s happening in the market. This has been helpful and saves me time, as it would have taken me a few hours to analyze that information using raw data,” said Jason.
What is your favorite feature of Trella’s Marketscape Insights?
“Trella provides the capability of filtering by different categories and viewing information about physicians in different ways,” said Jeff. “You can see the practice details, patient demographics, what a physician’s order share is, and where they are sending patients. This gives a much better directional picture of physician referral behavior. We can easily get a thumbnail sketch of a practice which allows us to build targeted talking points. It moves us beyond guesswork, facilitating informed conversations and guiding us further along the path”.
