About Kathy Ford
Kathy Ford serves as Chief Product Officer at Trella Health, where she leads product strategy, development, and innovation. With more than three decades of healthcare technology experience, Kathy has helped commercialize clinically impactful solutions across the care continuum, bringing deep expertise in product vision, market strategy, and healthcare transformation.
Prior to joining Trella, Kathy served as Chief Product and Strategy Officer at Project Ronin, President and Chief Product Officer at Rhinogram, and co-founder of Jellyfish Health, a company focused on patient flow logistics. Earlier in her career, she held executive product and strategy roles at GE Healthcare, Siemens Medical, McKesson, and NantHealth, where she led large-scale portfolios, supported merger and acquisition activities, and brought innovative healthcare solutions to market.
Kathy has seen meaningful advances across acute and ambulatory care, but believes post-acute care has too often been overlooked despite its critical role in patient recovery and long-term outcomes. That belief is deeply personal. Over the last several years, Kathy has helped care for her sister, who has faced multiple chronic conditions. Her sister’s fragmented transitions from acute to post-acute care contributed to continued readmissions and reinforced Kathy’s belief that clinicians need better tools to support informed decisions and better care.
At Trella, Kathy is focused on building products that help close those gaps by giving healthcare organizations the data, workflows, and intelligence they need to improve care transitions, strengthen decision-making, and support better outcomes for patients and families.
Kathy is especially excited about the role AI can play in making healthcare insights more accessible and actionable. Her team is launching an AI-enabled Insights platform that allows users to “ask Trella” questions about metrics, markets, and performance insights, helping them get answers in minutes to questions that previously took much longer to analyze. Her team is also bringing AI into Marketscape CRM Notes, enabling field-based users to summarize, optimize, and act on referral interaction notes more efficiently.
Kathy is a member of the Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Health Care Industry Foundation and serves as an advisor for the HLTH Foundation and the CSweetener Program. Her contributions have been recognized by Becker’s Healthcare, including Top 102 Women to Know in Healthcare, Top 25 Women Innovators in Healthcare, and 116 Women in Health IT to Know.
Outside of work, Kathy can often be found on the tennis court, where she plays multiple days a week. She is also a proud dog mom to her black lab, Cooper.
