About Jessica Chew
Jess Chew serves as Executive Vice President of Growth at Trella Health, where she leads Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences that drive long-term value.
She plays a key role in the company’s growth and evolution, helping shape Trella’s brand, market presence, and cross-functional operating model. Jess brings more than 15 years of healthcare experience and over seven years with Trella, where she has held leadership roles spanning VP of Marketing and GM of Post-Acute Provider Growth before stepping into her current position.
Jess began her career in journalism — a foundation that continues to shape her approach to leadership today. Curiosity, clear communication, and a drive to uncover meaningful insights have been a consistent thread throughout her career, influencing how she builds teams, connects with customers, and brings ideas to market.
She was drawn to healthcare for the same reason she was drawn to journalism: the opportunity to do work that matters. That purpose has only deepened in post-acute care — an often underserved part of the industry facing increasing complexity, regulatory pressure, and growing demand.
With aging parents of her own, Jess brings a personal perspective to her work and a clear mission: to equip providers with the data and workflows they need to deliver better care at scale.
Prior to Trella, Jess held marketing leadership roles at Greenway Health, where she advanced from Manager of Marketing Operations to Director of Demand Generation. She has also supported leading healthcare organizations including McKesson, Elsevier, and AT&T ForHealth.
These experiences sparked a lasting commitment to improving the healthcare system and shaped her focus on the intersection of technology, data, and patient outcomes — particularly in post-acute care.
Jess believes AI is critical in helping organizations better leverage data, especially for teams with limited resources. She is a strong advocate for practical applications of AI, focusing on how it can reduce manual work, surface meaningful insights faster, and enable teams to do more without adding overhead. Internally, she is also driving the adoption of AI-powered frameworks to help teams streamline content creation and deliver more consistent, high-quality work.
Outside of work, Jess is an avid outdoor enthusiast. She enjoys hiking, backpacking, skiing, and more. A lifelong learner, she is constantly exploring new challenges, driven by the same curiosity that first led her to journalism and continues to guide both her professional and personal life.
